This policy explains how Seller Finance Standards Board LLC (“SFSB,” “we”) collects and uses information when you visit sfsb.org or create an account.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, company, and role, and a password that is stored only in encrypted form by our authentication provider.
Activity. We record when you sign in (including the IP address and browser used) and which documents you download, to secure accounts and understand how the library is used.
Payments. Membership payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
How you found us. We store a first-party cookie noting the page you first landed on, the referring site, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed (for example, UTM tags).
Cookies and marketing tools
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. With your permission, we also load a tracking script from our customer relationship platform (HighLevel) that records pages visited and form submissions so we can follow up with people who contact us. You can accept or decline these cookies in the banner shown on your first visit; to change your choice, clear cookies for sfsb.org and reload the site.
How we use information
We use this information to provide your account and the document library, process memberships, send you SFSB updates and information about our programs, measure our marketing, and protect the site. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the email.
Sharing
We share information with service providers who operate the site on our behalf, including hosting (Vercel), account and storage services (Supabase), payments (Stripe), and our customer relationship platform (HighLevel). We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account information by emailing info@sfsb.org.
